Our mission is to support Nevadans in need of assistance with criminal record sealing. To ensure we are serving our community effectively, we have established the following eligibility guidelines.

1. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for our services/products, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Location: Must be a resident or operating within Clark County, Henderson, N. Las Vegas.
• Need: Must demonstrate a need for Criminal Record Sealing
• Income/Status: Optional: Household income must be below [250%] of the federal poverty line OR you must be a registered [Student/Veteran/Non-profit].

To ensure full transparency, all participants must be notified of the following third-party costs. Real Records provides document preparation at no cost, but the following fees are required to verify your identity and pull your records:

✅ Disclosure: The 150% Poverty Threshold

Real Records maintains a Hardship Fund to cover this $140 cost for individuals in extreme financial need. To qualify for this funding—and to qualify for the Court’s Filing Fee Waiver (NRS 12.015)—your household income must be at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Verification Required: You must provide proof of income (such as a SNAP/Medicaid approval letter or recent pay stubs) to be cleared for the Hardship Track.

📂 What This Means for Your Case

• If you are BELOW the 150% limit: Real Records will work to sponsor your $140 in pre-filing fees (subject to fund availability). We will also prepare the Fee Waiver for the court, which saves you an additional $71–$102 in filing fees.
• If you are ABOVE the 150% limit: You will be responsible for the ~$140 in third-party fees and the court’s filing fee, but our professional document preparation remains donor-supported and free of charge to you.
